Case Study
HOK Canada
The design approach to HOK’s new facility reflects the company’s collaborative nature. By creating a more relaxed, home-like work environment, they have aligned their workplace with their culture.
MARANT was selected as the construction manager and worked with the consulting team throughout the pre-construction phase to manage both the construction and LEED certification processes. The new workplace style is apparent the minute one enters the space. The reception is a large area, open to the meeting facilities, complete with a “guest services” station, custom lighting, wood floors and casual seating. The wood floors and open ceilings were carried throughout the office space, which includes a unique kitchen/lounge/library, multiple stylized meeting settings and beautiful city-scape views.
