MARANT Construction was selected as Construction Manager for Mastercard Foundation and Mastercard Foundation Asset Management’s relocation to their new Toronto headquarters. The vision was to create a refined workplace with distinct and shared spaces for both organizations, bringing together global influences, custom detailing, and Indigenous art as a central element of the design.
Designed in collaboration with iN STUDIO and Alexis Hur Consulting, the two-floor office fit-out features custom millwork and metalwork, integrated lighting, acoustic elements, operable walls, and a custom feature staircase.
Working within an aggressive schedule, MARANT leveraged rigorous pre-construction planning, detailed coordination, and strategic work packaging to maintain project momentum while upholding the required level of quality. The completed workplace brings together the distinct identities of both organizations through thoughtful design, custom craftsmanship, and carefully coordinated execution.
