Celebrating Women in Construction at MARANT
In Canada, women currently make up just 13% of the total construction industry workforce (both on and off-site). By contrast, this number in the US is closer to 9%, and 10% in the UK.
Though there’s a long way to go to reach gender parity in Canadian construction, the future looks bright. New inroads and resources are created each day to reach a more balanced workforce, including not for profit’s like the Canadian Association of Women in Construction.
