MARANT Expands Operations to Kitchener-Waterloo
MARANT Construction Limited has been servicing our clients with branch operations in the region for a decade. However, with the recent award of the Head Office renovation project for Manulife Financial (315,000 sf), and the steady growth of Ontario’s tech industry centred in the region, it was time to establish an office to better service the expanding needs of the “Tech Hub.” With over 15M sf of net new space under, or soon to be under construction in the Kitchener-Waterloo corridor (KW), vacancy rates steadily declining due to increased tech and other start-ups, and Metrolinx’ renewed commitment to two-way, all day Go Train service between Toronto and KW, the decision was made to establish an office in the region.
