MARANT for MANKIND Unites for the Ride to Conquer Cancer

TORONTO, ON – June 16, 2026 – MARANT Construction’s MARANT for MANKIND team proudly participated in Canada’s largest annual athletic fundraiser, the Ride to Conquer Cancer on June 13th-14th, joining thousands of riders in support of life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

For nearly two decades, MARANT for MANKIND has remained dedicated to this important cause. What began as a small team initiative in 2008 has grown into a longstanding tradition, bringing together employees, clients, partners, family members, and friends. The Ride to Conquer Cancer reflects MARANT’s commitment to enriching the communities we serve and making a meaningful impact beyond construction.

This year’s ride once again showcased the determination, resilience, and generosity of everyone involved. Together, MARANT for MANKIND trained, fundraised, and rode with a shared purpose: helping create a future free from cancer. 2026 saw the MARANT for MANKIND team become one of the Top 20 Teams after fundraising $334,798.20.

For many participants, the ride remains deeply personal. “I always look forward to ride weekend,” MARANT Project Manager Tyler Skidmore said as he reflected on the past weekend. “It is an inspiring event that brings great people together for an amazing cause. I feel honoured to be involved and can’t wait to celebrate the historic 20th anniversary ride next year!”

MARANT for MANKIND has raised nearly $4M in support of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre since first participating in 2008. Every contribution helps fund innovative cancer research, treatment advancements, and an array of patient care initiatives that directly impact lives across Canada and beyond.

MARANT extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated, volunteered, cheered and supported the team throughout this year’s ride. The unwavering generosity and encouragement make this achievement possible.

As we look ahead to 2027, the team is proud to continue its tradition of riding and fundraising in support of cancer research as it prepares to mark our 20th consecutive Ride to Conquer Cancer.
