MARANT Presented with the Donor of Merit Award During 2026 ROM Celebration
TORONTO, ON – June 11, 2026 – MARANT Construction is proud to be honoured with the Donor of Merit Award at this year’s ROM Celebration, Royal Ontario Museum’s (ROM) annual soirée held on June 9th, 2026.
The Donor of Merit Award recognizes donors whose generosity has significantly advanced the ROM’s mission. MARANT was recognized for its ongoing support of the museum’s repatriation initiatives, including funding the Repatriation Technician position since 2020. This work helps facilities the return of cultural belongings to Indigenous communities and reflects MARANT’s commitment to reconciliation through meaningful action, cultural understanding, and long-term community.
MARANT’s longstanding relationship with the ROM extends beyond its philanthropic support. MARANT’s own VP of Finance, Isabel Alves-Vettoretto, serves on both the ROM Board of Governors and the Audit & Finance Committee. Last year, Isabel was awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Distinguished Service Award, the museum’s highest honour recognizing exceptional volunteers for their commitment and service to the museum.
