The project was challenging from a schedule perspective, however, we were always confident that the MARANT would do what had to be done and make the final move-in date.

Steven Demers Director, Central Canada, CBRE Limited

MARANT was retained as the construction manager for this important new Canadian head office facility, which was successfully completed under an aggressive timeline. The project was constructed over four floors and has an interconnecting staircase. Utilizing a fourteen week pre-construction phase, our team provided multiple budget estimates, and engaged in value engineering with the core team to align the budget with corporate objectives. Long lead items were identified and discussed early in order to make the thirty week construction schedule achievable.

The new facility is open and contemporary, utilizing spacious areas for unique alternative meeting and collaboration settings. Although a desking system was installed in the open office areas, employees could work in a host of environments conducive to their personal work style. An architectural feature wall, constructed with Spanish brick, was added to each floor to create a warm, residential atmosphere. Polished concrete floors, vertical lighting strips, and open ceiling treated with felt fins or wooden slats added to the personality of the space creating a tech-centric and collaborative new workplace for Accenture staff and clients.
