Chosen as General Contractor, MARANT Construction partnered with Ellman Design Inc. on the multi-floor fit-out this confidential financial institution, completed in three phases. The renovation scope included refreshed kitchen and café spaces, an upgraded reception area and boardrooms, and the addition of a sound recording studio to support in-house audio production.
A key priority for the client was to reduce sound transfer throughout the office while modernizing the electrical and mechanical systems. To address this, MARANT installed acoustic panels in boardrooms and open areas, as well as a sound-isolating pod for private calls and meetings. Double-glazed office fronts were also installed across the space to improve acoustic performance in glass-enclosed offices.
Mechanical and electrical upgrades presented complex potential schedule challenges, nonetheless, MARANT expertly navigated these updates with ease, managing any changes requested by the client smoothly and efficiently.
Throughout the three phases of construction, MARANT demonstrated clear and consistent communication to ensure the clients expectations were met at every step, ultimately delivering a refreshed workspace that aligns with the operational needs of our client.
