Case Study
Gowling WLG
It was critical to the firm that their business stayed live throughout the seven-phased construction process of the Gowling offices. In order to accommodate, swing space was obtained in two buildings, across 3 floors.
The design and pre-construction phase was generous and allowed the core team appropriate time to collaboratively design, budget, and value engineer to maximize creative impact, while adhering to the client’s financial objectives.
Once vacated, the floors were demolished and newly constructed as per the new design concept for the firm. The area surrounding the staircase was hoarded off and remained secured until the end of construction, while construction of the conference floor began with the first practice floor. The seventh phase of the construction process connected all floors for the final result.
