Ogletree Deakins LLP Canada handles a wide range of issues, from advising on employment processes and restructuring to navigating collective bargaining and cross-border employment matters. The firm is for its expertise in labor and employment law, particularly in representing management in various employment-related legal matters.

Selected as General Contractor, MARANT Construction was tasked with overseeing Ogleetree Deakins LLP’s request for a new corporate standard for its first permanent Canadian headquarters.

From beginning to end, MARANT was able to better understand the client’s design needs and budget parameters before tender. This was done by collaborating with the Real Estate Management Group from the pre-lease stage, and providing space audit and constructability reviews along with the designer.

MARANT successfully delivered an upgraded floor space featuring a presentation-ready boardroom outfitted with new A/V capabilities for international client conferencing, a reception and front-of-house meeting areas were designed using the client’s corporate standard finishes, and a a traditional law firm built out with offices around the perimeter and workstations on the interior of the floor. Additionally, washrooms were upgraded and a new café was constructed for office staff.

Our office project has been a great experience from the start. The processes of construction and relocation have been seamless and this is all contributed to our GC’s attention to timelines and detail. Thanks again from the Real Estate Management Group to the MARANT team for our beautiful space.
