Case Study
Ogletree Deakins LLP
Having maintained its presence within a business centre for its initial years in Toronto, the client wanted to set a new corporate standard for its first permanent Canadian headquarters. Working with the Real Estate Management Group from the the pre-lease stage, providing space audit and constructability reviews along with the designer, MARANT was able to better understand the client’s design needs and budget parameters prior to tender.
The full floor space included a large, presentation-ready boardroom outfitted with new A/V capabilities for international client conferencing, while reception and front-of-house meeting areas were designed using the client’s corporate standard finishes, which was coordinated with their internal design group. The traditional law firm space was built out with offices around the perimeter and workstations on the interior of the floor. Washrooms were upgraded and a new café constructed for staff as well.
