Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd., is Canada’s largest mining company and the world’s second-largest gold producer. The company is recognized for its sustainability practices and focuses on creating value for shareholders, employees, and communities while maintaining trust and honouring commitments.

MARANT was retained by the client and client’s project manager to serve as Construction Manager and General Contractor on the build out of Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd.’s new corporate head office.

Our team worked with the client’s architect to provide project budget pricing and worked with the project manager to “value engineer” the concept to align with budget expectations.

The office facility was constructed using high-end finishes such as wood feature walls and ceiling, boardroom entry doors and flooring. Natural stone was used on floors and staircase walls. The space featured a new staircase and a 12′ x 9′ “art wall” at one end of the reception area, which was created using 8’ stone core drill samples from the client’s international mines. Although a highly detailed space with an extremely sophisticated audio visual installation, the space was completed on time and within budget.

Thank you for the wonderful work you have executed for us on projects we have designed over the last few years. We always know our designs are in safe, respectful hands when MARANT is selected for construction responsibilities.
