Arcadis | IBI Group is a leading design and consultancy firm focused on natural and built assets, with a global presence and a strong history in Canada. They deliver solutions for clients in various sectors, including environment, energy, water, buildings, and transportation.

MARANT Construction was selected as Construction Manager to oversee the fit-up of Arcadis IBI Group’s single-level office space in Ottawa.

The scope of our renovations included installing phone booths, enclave cubbies, lounge areas, and a “Focus Room” designed to enhance the work environment of staff.

The new space features an open-concept lunchroom panelled with custom millwork and acoustical fabric for substantial sound control. This project also included the installation of a unique telescopic wall, which required meticulous handling and attention to detail.

Our team excelled in site coordination & collaboration to meet the needs of the client, communicating and resolving site issues quickly and seamlessly. MARANT ultimately delivered a fresh space that adequately accommodates Arcadis IBI Group’s evolving business needs.

The construction of this project occurred in the midst of the pandemic when material delays and shortages were at their worst. MARANT’s team creatively problem-solved and worked with us to mitigate issues to ensure project completion remained on track.
