MARANT Construction, serving as the General Contractor, partnered with Chmiel Architects to deliver a modern and functional workspace for the Business Development of Canada (BDC) offices in Ottawa West. The renovation focused on creating an open work area, defined by a striking curved slat wall and operable partition, along with a fully equipped kitchenette, meeting rooms with soundproofing, and specialty lighting to enhance the environment.
MARANT worked closely with BDC and their direct vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and integration of all project elements. The team also managed several complex site conditions, including solving constructability challenges posed by existing structural supports. Through careful planning and execution, MARANT successfully transformed the space into a cohesive and highly functional office that meets the client’s needs.
