MARANT was retained as the construction manager for this multi-phased “in-situ” renovation project to upgrade the head office facility and build a new rooftop patio space for the organization. The project has included the management of multiple moves and swing space relocations, which were necessary to clear space for construction in cooperation with a move manager.
The new design features contemporary finishes that include stone flooring in all the elevator lobbies as well as the reception area, wood-feature walls, upgraded washroom finishes and wall covering throughout every floor, and updated conferencing facilities. The project had aggressive timelines and budget parameters, which were consistently achieved.
The rooftop patio is a highly prized and utilized event space for the company with the potential to be leased to other tenants in the building. MARANT added an elevator from the 5th to the 6th floor to access the patio. The design is unique and features a fireplace, A/V & widescreen TV, a covered lounge, seating for up to 100 guests, and a spectacular view of the city.
