Canadian Agency for Drugs & Technology in Health (CADTH)

The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing evidence-based information to healthcare decision-makers in Canada. It evaluates the clinical and cost-effectiveness of drugs, medical devices, and other health technologies to facilitate informed decision-making within the healthcare system.

MARANT was awarded the project under a Construction Management contract, which was implemented in four phases of approximately equal square footage. CADTH is the sole tenant in the building. The project included the full demolition of each floor, followed by the construction of the new workplace. Employees were required to move from the floors prior to the start of construction, then move back at the end of each phase.

The MARANT team coordinated all aspects of the project, including the installation and/or removal of furniture, the installation and connectivity of audio visual, technology, security, acoustics and furniture, as well as modifications to existing window coverings. The design and construction of the new build was fresh and modernized, highly functional with respect to the work flow requirements of CADTH employee, and cost effective.

MARANT managed the interior renovation of our office space in Ottawa (3 phases) and in Toronto. MARANT’s teams have been diligent, resourceful, and dependable in delivering a multi-phase project, and to all CADTH’s requirements. We are pleased to continue to work with MARANT on the remaining phases of our renovation project.
