Case Study
Charles River Associates
Having outgrown its existing and dated facilities, CRA wanted to set a new benchmark for its clients facing Canadian headquarters; a standard that might then be rolled out across other North American offices. MARANT was selected as construction manager in order to value-engineer throughout the design development phase, and to provide estimates on various design feasibilities that would offer the highest design standard for CRA’s fixed budgetary parameters. Working with the firm’s global head of IT and technology, the “future-proofed” space benefits from cutting edge optical fiber and telecom infrastructure that is secured from its global headquarters in Boston.
A significant amount of custom millwork throughout the space coupled with several specialty feature walls and custom office fronts give the workplace environment a classic yet fresh aesthetic, which speaks to CRA’s reputation for bespoke client service and stability, while also keeping an eye on current and future business trends. Landlord base building upgrades to mechanical systems, common area corridors and washrooms on the project floor were also completed alongside the tenant fit up, which was delivered ahead of schedule.
