Cidel Financial Group is known for providing private banking and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. Since 1999, they have specialized in helping clients structure and grow their wealth through services like asset management, trust services, specialized banking, and corporate services.

Retained as Construction Manager, MARANT Construction oversaw Cidel Financial Group’s office renovation, consolidating their two Toronto offices into one efficient location.

MARANT was able to assist Cidel in maintaining its budget by incorporating and repurposing pre-existing foundational elements. Among these elements were the exposed ceilings and ductwork, polished concrete floors, renovated base building washrooms, and existing kitchen and LAN room infrastructure, which were repurposed.

Through this careful budgeting, Cidel was able to invest more into upgrading other areas of the office to create a genuine “wow factor” for visiting clients and office employees. These upgrades included the installation of wood drop ceiling panels, glazing on all office and meeting/boardroom fronts to increase natural light into the core of the suite, and the inclusion of high-end artwork.

In the end, MARANT delivered a contemporary office space that exceeded Cidel’s desire for an upgraded consolidated space, helping them offer better service and be closer in proximity to their clients.
