This project had a very aggressive schedule and tight budget parameters - but in the end, MARANT delivered on time and to a great result. We are thrilled with our new space!

Jody Russelle Managing Director - Project Management Services, Cushman & Wakefield

MARANT was retained as the construction manager for this fast-tracked relocation of C&W’s Toronto Central headquarters. Constructed over two floors with an existing staircase, the new workplace concept moved from a traditional, perimeter office model to an open, “inbound” concept with a variety of working environments to allow staff flexibility in how and where they wish to work during the day. As a result, the layout provides all staff with access to daylight and wireless connectivity throughout the space.

The construction of “neighbourhoods” for each division was strategically surrounded by support spaces, as well as meeting/focus rooms, and a large boardroom with folding partition. The design and construction incorporated the landlord’s guidelines and best practices for sustainability concerning energy consumption, locally sourced and healthy materials selection, and waste diversion.
