DLA Piper LLP
DLA Piper LLP renewed its lease at First Canadian Place in Toronto, for floors 59 and 60 – with Brookfield Properties Inc. and wanted to renovate the facility to enhance business functionality and give the space a fresh new look. DLA Piper LLP wanted to retain a construction manager to work with them throughout the process to contain costs and minimize the disruption to their employees.
MARANT was retained as the construction manager and, as part of the pre-construction team, provided the preliminary budget estimates and was involved in value engineering the project construction cost, as well as pre-ordering items and developing the construction phasing schedule.
