Flaherty McCarthy LLP is an insurance litigation firm founded in 1994, representing insurers and individuals throughout Ontario and the United States. They are recognized for their specialization in litigating, negotiating, and mediating claims related to motor vehicle torts and accident benefits.

In partnership with Cityspace Project Management Services, MARANT Construction served as the General Contractor for the renovation of Flaherty McCarthy LLP’s office space in Markham. The project involved adding multiple new offices to the existing layout, upgrading existing offices with new office fronts and finishes, and fully renovating the lunchroom with modern fixtures and finishes, creating a refreshed and functional workspace.

MARANT excelled at addressing site and design challenges with effective solutions, ensuring the project remained on schedule. Clear and proactive communication with the client, designer, and project partners allowed us to navigate potential delays, such as long lead times for materials, without disrupting progress. The project involved a unique and challenging open concept ceiling, in which the project had many reservations and concerns and many base building issues to deal with. However, MARANT team was able to effectively manage all details, and quickly address some of the unforeseen details during construction.
