Ivanhoé Cambridge is a Canadian real estate company that specializes in the development and investment of high-quality properties, projects, and businesses worldwide. MARANT Construction was selected as General Contractor to oversee the transformation of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s new office space after they relocated from 95 Wellington St to the new CIBC Square building at 81 Bay St.

The scope of the project included a complete fit-up of the newly constructed multi-tenant floor, with installation of high-density filing, reception area, lunchroom, office spaces, and workstations.
Our team was thoroughly engaged during pre-construction to provide iterative budgets as the core project team moved through design development to ensure design intent aligned with project budget and schedule. And, despite pandemic constraints and labour challenges, MARANT delivered a remarkable, state-of-the-art workspace.

This project highlights Ivanhoé Cambridge’s vision and the successful partnership between Cityscape and MARANT, overcoming significant hurdles to achieve a beautiful, final result.

As the owner representative for Ivanhoé Cambridge and their new corporate HQ offices at CIBC Square, this was an important endeavour, and required a great construction team to execute this project. Our team's decision to engage with MARANT was a great decision, as this was a very complex project, constructed through the challenges of COVID, and the MARANT team executed it with success. The construction improvements resulted in a high-quality corporate interior aligned perfectly to the client's design intent.
