MARANT had only eight weeks to manage the phase one build-out of our new space - a 50,000 sf old Toronto warehouse. The base building was in ruins and the design imposed, complex. MARANT took on our project with full enthusiasm and made the impossible - possible.

Andrew Bruce Executive VP and COO, Publicis Groupe

MARANT was awarded the project following a construction management competition conducted by the Teeple Architects. An extremely challenging project due to the aggressive eight-week schedule and the amount of base building repair work involved, including elevator upgrades. Upon completion, over 220 people relocated to the new space, which had to be 100% operational when they moved in.

As construction manager, MARANT coordinated closely with the architect and client to ensure their budget was achievable. The modern office environment was built within a historic brick and beam space which was fully rehabilitated and exposed as part of the design concept. The project included a rooftop patio with an interconnecting staircase with related structural work.
