Swissport Aspire is known for operating airport lounges, offering a relaxing and comfortable environment for travelers before their flights. These lounges are accessible to all passengers regardless of their airline or class of travel. Aspire is Europe’s largest brand of airport lounges.

MARANT was retained as the Construction Manager for this lounge renovation project at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. The project included the demolition of the existing space, trenching for food and beverage lines, as well as electrical and plumbing systems. The scope of work involved the construction of a new wall, floor grinding and polishing, painting, millwork, HVAC, stone, and wall tile installation.

During this project, we worked closely with the client and the airport authorities to have a quick turn around on building deficiencies that affected occupancy. We rectified these issues in one day, speeding up the occupancy approval process from the building inspector.
