Maintaining Our Commitment to Carbon Neutrality

TORONTO, ON – June 5, 2026 – In honour of World Environment Day, MARANT Construction is proud to reaffirm its commitment to environmental responsibility through the completion of its 2025 greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and the continuation of its carbon-neutral status.

Since 2024, MARANT has partnered with Carbonzero to measure, manage, and offset emissions generated through our operations across Toronto, Ottawa, and Kitchener-Waterloo. This annual process helps us better understand our environmental impact while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce emissions over time.

Through Carbonzero, MARANT continues to offset its Scope 1, Scope 2, and business travel-related Scope 3 emissions by supporting verified carbon offset projects that reduce or remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Our commitment includes ongoing support of the Great Bear Forest Carbon Project (GBFCP) and the Niagara Escarpment Forest Carbon Project (NEFCP). These initiatives help protect valuable ecosystems, preserve biodiversity, and support Indigenous-led and community-based environmental stewardship efforts across Canada. As we continue to grow, environmental responsibility remains an important part of how we operate. We are grateful to our clients, industry partners, and team members whose support helps us advance our sustainability goals and contribute to a more sustainable future.
